Isoflex low profile mounts resolve height concern for submarine operator’s transfer vessel

Atlantis Submarines is an operator of undersea submarine tours with ten submarines operating in Aruba, Barbados, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Guam, and Waikiki, Maui and Kona in Hawaii.

Their Barbados-based operation was looking to retrofit and realign an engine in their transfer vessel, a power catamaran called Ocean Quest, and was concerned about downtime. Due to the very limited height between the engine bed and bracket, they had either to remake the engine bed in order to keep their existing mounts, or, find low profile mounts that fit properly into the space.

Isoflex provided a solution. The Isoflex M130 low-profile mounts were fitted in the aft to support a Volvo Penta D11 engine and after more than 1300 hours of operation, they are still doing their job well.
